If you’re looking to build muscle mass fast, then it’s critical that you understand how to train to spark muscle growth. When you’re just starting out with your muscle building program, you really can get away with a lot of poor technique, but after your body starts to get conditioned to your workouts by increasing in strength and laying down some muscle, it can be a real challenge to push past the early gains and and gain even more new muscle mass.
When it comes to building muscle mass fast, one of the biggest things you can do is to design your workouts around building a solid level of muscular strength. A lot of guys totally ignore strength focused training complaining that it won’t really help you gain muscle, what they fail to recognize is that steadily increasing your strength levels will allow you to train with heavier weights.
As you continue to steadily increase your weights, you will definitely start to generate more muscle tissue. As long as your bodybuilding nutrition plan is well organized, you will start to pack on muscle mass at a decent rate.
How To Gain Muscle Fast
If you’re starting out on you quest to build muscle tissue, hold yourself to only 3 weight training workouts per week. Believe me I know that it can be tempting to go to the weight room every single day, but training too much will not help you pack on any more muscle size. 2 – 3 free weight based workouts each week will allow your body a full day to rest and recover between workouts. This is one of the hardest things for beginning bodybuilders to wrap their minds around but the bottom line is that if you really want to build muscle mass, it’s important that you learn to give your body the time it needs to completely recover between workouts.
After that you’ll want to make make it a habit to limit each of your body building workouts to ½ hour to an hour max. This is enough time to get in an effective and intense muscle mass stimulating workout. A lot of guys believe that they need to be wasting a few hours at a time in the gym, but that’s not true. If you learn how to focus on your workout and block out all of the distractions at the gym, then you can finish your workout faster than you ever thought you could.
After you get your workout duration all lined out properly, you will want to make sure and train each of your body parts no more than one time each week. Let your muscles fully recover by allowing for 7 full days of rest and recover time between training sessions. Not only will your muscles feel a lot better, but it should be able to get a lot stronger with a full week to recover. There is a time and place for body part specialization routines that require multiple body part focused workouts each week, but it’s definitely not when your first starting out.
If you plan on limiting your workout duration to 60 minutes, then you will wan to train no more than a few body parts per training session. If you’re weight lifting workouts are limited to an hour, it will be almost impossible for you to train more than a few body parts in each training session. Group your body parts together in a way that will give you the ability to train with weights that are as heavy as possible. It’s a great idea to match up body parts that work hand in hand with each other, but do not require a huge amount of energy to complete within the same workout. This will give you the ability to train with as heavy a weight as possible for each body part.
Here’s how I like to combine body parts for maximum muscle growth. I would train my pecs and lats one day followed by my shoulders and traps on another day, my legs on a separate day and my arms the next.
Just make it a priority to implement each of the weightlifting tips outlined above into your fitness program and you will gain muscle tissue naturally while building a solid base of strength as well. Over time these easy weight training tips can lead to more muscle growth than you ever thought possible.
